A Colourful Wedding at COMO The Treasury, Perth
There was never going to be anything quiet about Amy + Mitch's wedding flowers — and we loved them for it.
Set within the beautiful surrounds of COMO The Treasury in Perth, their celebration was the perfect meeting of modern romance, incredible colour and a little bit of fun.
Amy wanted colour to really have a moment. We worked with vibrant fuchsia, warm peach and orange, deep pink and purple tones, bringing them together in a statement floral backdrop that created a beautiful focal point for the ceremony.
Modern Colour, Flowers + Candlelight
Inside Petition, the existing brick, timber and architectural details gave us such a beautiful backdrop to work with.
Rather than fighting against the space, we wanted the flowers and candlelight to feel completely at home within it.
Purple and orange glass candle holders were layered along the venue's ledges, interspersed with small vessels of flowers to carry colour throughout the room. As the light softened, the candles brought warmth to all that bold colour and helped create the relaxed, intimate atmosphere we wanted for the evening.
It's something we love about candlelight — it doesn't have to compete with the flowers. It changes how the whole space feels.
A ceremony feature made to be seen….And then there was Amy's bouquet.
Filled with phalaenopsis orchids, open garden-style roses, anthuriums and delphiniums, it was unapologetically colourful, modern and full of movement.
The kind of bouquet that didn't just complement the wedding — it helped set the tone for it.
Amy + Mitch's day was such a beautiful reminder that wedding flowers don't need to follow rules. Colour can be sophisticated. Romance doesn't have to mean soft pastels. And sometimes the most memorable celebrations are the ones that feel completely and unmistakably like the people at the centre of them.
