We always knew Sheridan & Gian’s wedding day was going to be nothing less than editorial.
Vintage glam is this couple through and through. While their intimate ceremony and cocktail reception was shared with a small handful of their most treasured people, that certainly didn’t mean they were going to make any less of a statement.
Having known this pair for a few years, it was such an honour to play a part in their wedding day. It felt like only yesterday that I had created the flowers for Sheridan’s 21st birthday, so being there to create her wedding flowers felt particularly special.
Their beautifully intimate ceremony took place at Perth’s Registry Office, before they headed to QT Perth for a moody, moonlit cocktail celebration.
Sheridan arrived dressed head to toe in lace, finished with a long vintage-style veil, a bold red lip and flowers to match. Gian looked every bit her equal in black trousers and a shirt, topped with a deep maroon velvet jacket.
The flowers followed suit — romantic, a little dramatic and unapologetically glamorous. Everything about the day felt considered, from the vintage styling to the candlelit atmosphere and the couple themselves.
It was a day about love, celebration and being surrounded by the people who matter most. There were cocktails, plenty of laughter and, of course, a little dancing to finish the evening.
Small in guest numbers, perhaps. But never small in style, personality or feeling.
